Ports

According to OpenStack Docs, a port is a connection point for attaching a single device, such as the NIC of a server, to a network. The port also describes the associated network configuration, such as the MAC and IP addresses to be used on that port.

In City Cloud, under Networking > Ports, the user finds lists all ports in your networks and within which network they exist. By clicking the row for each port the user will get an expanded view of the individual port.  By clicking , the user can view/close more details, modify the port and delete the port (Figure 1).

In the top right corner of the page the user can add a new port (Figure 2).

When adding a new port, the user should give the new port a name, choose which region the port should be created in (Figure 3).
