Our Compute nodes are running Nova, the OpenStack component that provides a way to provision compute instances (aka virtual servers or VM for short).
Nova supports creating virtual machines, baremetal servers (through the use of ironic).

City Cloud compute nodes offers you to create a wide range of VMs in different Server Flavours and with various Operating Systems variants or for you to simply install any wanted software and operating system of your own.

VMs can be run in standalone mode, or also now we do offer the option to run clusters within your projects via Example: Deploy Rancher and manage your K8s cluster and/or Kubernetes (Magnum).

Further details on VMs are found under VMs (Virtual Instances).

In our City Control Panel, all your virtual machines (servers) will be listed, filtered by the OpenStack region they are located in.
Each server can be expanded to show detailed information about the specific server. Use the three dots to the right and click View or simply click the row of the server.

Your VMs will be possible to manage one by one, or in groups.

If you like to perform an action for multiple servers, you select which servers, using the left hand side checkbox, and the action you would like to perform at the top of the list, for example Start.
